I only create unique pieces using the historical collodion wet plate process. For me, analogue photography has always been associated with unadulterated, genuine and direct. The chemical process, the smell of fixer on my hands and the limited nature of images mean ‘real’ photography to me. The possibility of failing, making mistakes and the fact that the results are never predictable is what makes the images so valuable to me.
