Melis Ragusin is a new media and mixed-media artist born in Izmir, Turkey in 1979. Her work bridges AI-driven video art, AI-generated fine art prints, and tactile sculptural pieces crafted from physical materials.
Her practice flows between digital and physical realms — from AI-generated moving images to sculptural wall works layered in resin, plexiglass, and glitter.
Melis explores emotion, identity, and perception through a hybrid process that fuses generative AI, cinematic motion, and material textures. Her creative process centers around iterative prompting — a layered act of visual refinement that builds immersive, narrative-based video works.
She works across tools like Midjourney, Runway ML, Google Flow, Pika Labs, and ChatGPT to generate and evolve visual ideas. For final polish, she uses Premiere Pro, Topaz Video AI, Artlist, Eleven Labs, and other cinematic post-production tools — blending digital precision with a tactile aesthetic.
Her artworks have been exhibited internationally, and she continues to push artistic frontiers through installations, immersive digital experiences, and cross-platform collaborations.
