Born in 1961, Gent, Belgium, Europe. Father of Five children. My initial teachers at the Ghent SchoolofArts where Octave Landuyt, Jacques Verduyn and Berten Cools amongst others. From there on I became autodidact and enjoyed many expert courses all over the world. My first exhibition was the Jan Hoet Sr. 'Gents Kunstsalon' in 1985. Many other exhibitions followed. I build 3 art workplaces myself; one in Baaigem (1989), one in Astene (2013) and my actual work place: 'de Spie' in Petegem-aan-de-Leie (2018). My work consist of polychrome sculptures, paintings and happenings. I love following themes in my work: intimate physical and human contact, human intelligence and nature. I work in series and make unique pieces of art whereas I vary on an actual theme/ In 2018 I worked on 'The impossibility of Love'. 2019 was about: 'Time & Space Capsules'. In 2020 I created 'Blockchain'. in 2021 I worked on 'Black holes of ignorance'. And in 2022 I am working on ; 'The resurrection of the Human Potential". I love to work on location and together with various artists in others fields of expertise. I love to interact with my audience. You are invited to my work place and follow my art creation.
