FEED.art is dedicated to the creation, exhibition, preservation, education, and innovation of media art, fostering artistic growth and community engagement both URL and IRL. FEED Media Art Center is located in Erie, Pennsylvania's Downtown ARTs District in a building that formerly housed a wagon wheel shop and furniture store. Spacious halls are being adapted for galleries and studios offering access to media art tools from the past half century. Local and visiting artists interact with the local community in Erie and a global online audience through workshops, lectures, and exhibitions during their residencies. FEED develops community-driven art projects in Erie, contributing to downtown Erie's redevelopment through placemaking projects and incubating creatives.. FEED is building an archival collection of significant real-time media artworks, including those by under-recognized practitioners.
