Claudiu Ciobanu (b. 1984) is a Romanian visual artist from Iași, specializing in painting and drawing. A graduate of the Faculty of Visual Arts and Design, UNAGE Iași, he studied experimental painting and drawing through the Erasmus program at the University of Salamanca, Spain. His 2023 exhibition, Memento vivere, at the Romanian Cultural Institute in Vienna, examined posthumanism and technology’s impact on life, offering a fresh perspective on contemporary painting.
He has exhibited in Romania, Poland, Israel, Washington, Berlin, and Vienna, participating in national and international projects.
