Joel Veness is Digital Artist based in Sydney, Australia. His work explores the relationship between human hand drawn creation, and the merging of this with the digital world. Veness’s work uses the motif of the Head as his own personal signature. Rather than exploring multiple themes Joel has focused on the Head in profile. As well as creating Digital Drawings, Joel has merged moving images with his drawings. He also composes, plays and records music to go with these works. Veness has studied Fine Arts at the prestigious National Arts School in Sydney, he has also studied and holds qualifications in Art Direction, Graphic Design, as well as Interior Design. He has previously been represented by Sydney based Gallery Curatorial + Co, and he currently shows with Innerspace in Sydney.
