Tim Porter is a Canadian multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans cultures and media. Beginning his artistic journey in the late 1960s, Tim has created a diverse body of work encompassing contemporary art, photography, filmmaking, sound art, and video art. More than 150 of his photographs are held in the Permanent Collection of the National Gallery of Canada.

His work often explores themes of meditation and memory, drawing inspiration from his life as an artist in Japan, where he has established a studio near Tokyo.
